Cool Ventures Inc. Announces Executive Appointments

Cool Ventures Inc. (“Cool”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ray G. Mills as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective April 1, 2021. He replaces George B. de Boon, who was appointed Executive Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Mills, who previously held the position of non-executive Chairman, has joined the company on a full-time basis to focus on the marketing and commercialization of Cool’s proprietary refrigeration technology. In addition to licensing the patented technology for broad industrial applications, Cool also plans to leverage its technological advantage through direct participation in small scale liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) projects to supply affordable, cleaner energy to potential customers.

Prior to joining Cool, Mr. Mills co-founded Kudu Industries Inc. in 1989 and was CEO of the company from 2003 until its sale to Schlumberger in 2014.
